Spencer Road Public Utility District (“District”) is committed to providing efficient, high-quality water and sewer services while keeping rates as low as possible. To continue meeting rising operational costs including increasing garbage collection costs and costs of providing law enforcement services, the District has made adjustments to its current water rates.
Even with the increase, the District continues to offer some of the lowest water and sewer rates in the region. For the past several years, the District has been absorbing increased costs for garbage collection without increasing its water and sewer rates. The District has opted to make necessary water rate adjustments to cover some of these additional costs. The District will review the impact of the increased water rates and determine if additional increases may be necessary in the near future. We appreciate your understanding as the District makes these necessary adjustments to ensure continued reliable water, sewer and garbage services.
